A fresh morning on cold sand... What better way to start your day!
Come and enjoy a morning of sandboarding in the dunes of Death Valley, San Pedro de Atacama.
The cold sand helps for a better ride and makes walking up on the dunes easier.
We will provide you with good quality equipment and an instructor to help you get going!
We start of from our agency to catch a ride towards the dunes in Death Valley.
After arriving at the dunes we get you equiped and ready to begin the crash-course in
sandboarding by our experienced instructors.
During this class the instructor will teach you how to go down first time in your life.
This includes knowing your equipment and how to stop/turn in the sand.
We always intend on motivating those who feel a bit uncertain about their first experience.
The instructions will take about 30min.
You can enjoy various different angles of slope between 35 and 50 degrees at the highest point!
Finaly, after the session we will bring you back to San Pedro de Atacama.
As with all our services, we include security equipment, board, instructor and transport.
Itineraries
Pickup
Time : 9:00 am
We join up to get a ride to Death Valley
Arrival
Time : 9:30 am
We will provide adequate equipment such as suitable boots, helmet and board
followed by aprox. 30min of instructions
Sandboard session
Time : 10:00 am
During this time you can practice your sandboard skills and enjoy this unique experience!
Session end
Time : 12:00 pm
Return to town
At the end of the session we return you back to town.
